This case-based activity will cover treatment options and management of patients with recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of oncologists, oncology nurses, and other healthcare providers involved in the care of patients with recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
Upon completion of the program, attendees should be able to:
- Describe the dysregulation of the immune system that supports the development of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN)
- Review the mechanisms of action of immuno-oncology therapies in patients with recurrent and metastatic SCCHN
- Discuss clinical trial-derived efficacy and safety data for immuno-oncology agents for use in patients with recurrent or metastatic SCCHN
- Explain how to recognize and manage checkpoint inhibitor-associated immune-related adverse events in patients with SCCHN
