LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Describe the clinical burden of musculoskeletal symptoms and PROs in patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
  • Create treatment plans that address musculoskeletal symptoms and PROs in addition to disease activity and damage for patients with SLE
  • Discuss the clinical implications of interferon as a key mediator of SLE pathogenesis
  • Select treatments for patients with SLE that target its pathogenic pathways
