PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This Live Summit Series will provide a practical overview of the evolving diagnostic and treatment landscape for thymidine kinase 2 deficiency (TK2d). Insights from expert faculty will help translate current evidence into actionable strategies for recognizing the clinical features of TK2d, establishing timely diagnoses, and integrating molecular genetic testing into clinical practice. The program will review current and emerging therapeutic approaches and discuss how clinical data can be applied to inform patient management. Through interactive case-based learning, faculty-led discussions, and peer-to-peer exchange, participants will gain practical tools and perspectives to support the care of patients with TK2d.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of neuromuscular specialists, general neurologists, pediatric neurologists, pulmonologists, NPs, and PAs involved in the diagnosis, treatment, or management of TK2d.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, attendees will have improved ability to:
- Utilize diagnostic criteria and clinical characteristics to identify TK2d in patients
- Integrate molecular genetic testing into routine clinical practice to confirm diagnoses of TK2d
- Apply clinical data for current and emerging therapies to inform treatment strategies
