PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program aims to discuss traditional and newer management options for migraine headaches with regard to distinct mechanisms of action, efficacy, safety, indications, routes of administration, and incorporation into acute and preventative treatment methods. A second tenet of the program will be to encourage open communication and shared decision-making as core clinical components of patient-centered migraine management

TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for US-based headache specialists, neurologists, and primary care providers involved in the care of patients with migraine.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Contrast the distinct mechanisms of action, efficacy and safety profiles, indications, and routes of administration associated with new and emerging therapeutic options for the acute and preventative management of migraine
- Incorporate new and emerging therapeutic agents into treatment algorithms for patients in need of acute or preventative management of migraine
- Facilitate open communication and shared decision-making as part of patient-centered migraine management
