PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Are we doing more harm than good for patients with SLE and lupus nephritis? Join us as we explore the latest evidence and clinical strategies to support earlier diagnosis and safer, more effective treatment.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of rheumatologists and rheumatology nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) involved in the management of SLE.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Summarize the clinical manifestations of SLE and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment to limit organ damage and disease activity
- Evaluate the mode of action, efficacy and safety of emerging treatment strategies for SLE management
- Apply a treat-to-target (T2T) approach involving formalized treatment, monitoring and treatment adjustment to help achieve the sequential goals of lowering disease activity followed by disease remission
