PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This CME program provides a comprehensive and up-to-date perspective on the evolving management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). We will be discussing unmet needs in the current identification and management of IBD; identifying tools to assist with differential diagnosis, clinical assessment, and selection of effective therapies for IBD; and exploring the underlying pathophysiology of IBD and the role of JAK inhibition in modifying therapeutic outcomes.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This STRIVE Initiative along with its micro-learning opportunities and enduring online 2D Ultra 4K HD program is intended for gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in the management of IBD.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:

  • Summarize the role of JAK/STAT signaling in the underlying pathophysiology of IBD and the role of JAK inhibition in modifying therapeutic outcomes.
  • Recognize major unmet needs in IBD and options for further improvement in clinical outcomes through application of novel therapy.
  • Update knowledge and competence in the differential diagnosis, clinical assessment, and selection of effective therapies for IBD management.
