Learning Objectives
After completing the activity, learners should be better able to:
- Facilitate a timely and accurate diagnosis of NMOSD and prompt initiation of treatment
- Interpret evidence from clinical trials assessing available and emerging therapies for the treatment of patients with NMOSD that can inform clinical decision making
- Develop individualized evidence-based management strategies for patients with NMOSD, while understanding patients’ quality of life issues in the management of NMOSD
Target Audience
This activity is intended to meet the educational needs of U.S.-based neurologists, ophthalmologists, neuro-ophthalmologists, optometrists, pharmacists, emergency medicine clinicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who diagnose and manage patients with NMOSD.
