PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This microlearning educational activity features a faculty presentation with engaging animations and interactive storytelling covering key points in effective management. These include the importance of treating to guidelines with the goal of increasing confidence in utilizing evidence-based approaches, and to optimize clinical and quality of life outcomes for patients with CRSwNP.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of CRSwNP specialists including otolaryngologists; ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialists; allergists/immunologists; pulmonologists; and associated advanced practice providers (APPs) to ensure an up-to-date understanding of the latest data and expert guidance on CRSwNP management.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Describe the mechanisms of action (MoAs) related to targeting type 2 Inflammation, as well as the efficacy and safety profiles of biologics available to treat CRSwNP
- Evaluate opportunities to implement evidence-based treatment guideline approaches, including the use of biologics, in the management of CRSwNP in the real-world setting
- Assess strategies for the development of personalized treatment plans and utilize multidisciplinary team (MDT) and shared decision making (SDM) approaches to improve outcomes for patients with CRSwNP
