PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This virtual symposium is designed to meet is designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine specialists, endocrinologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs).
TARGET AUDIENCE
The proposed education will be designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine specialists, endocrinologists, advanced healthcare practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners (HCPs) involved in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs).
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Describe the considerations for treatment selection for advanced GEP-NETs, such as tumor biology and clinical traits, and referral criteria to expert centers
- Apply evidence-based strategies for sequencing targeted therapies to enhance patient outcomes in advanced GEP-NETs
- Interpret recent clinical trial data to inform use of novel therapies in practice for advanced GEP-NETs
