PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This CME-accredited video presentation provides a concise, approximately 15-minute deep dive into first-line therapy for non-driver-mutated, metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. During this activity, a lung cancer expert reviews diagnosis and workup best practices, current guideline recommendations and emerging evidence for first-line treatment, immune-related adverse event management, and strategies to improve patient outcomes through shared decision-making and multidisciplinary collaboration. This program is delivered via the immersive ENCOMPASS platform, which offers access to a range of engaging resources (for example, animations, infographic-driven slides, and a personalized poster creation tool) designed to support your practice.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of clinicians involved in the management of patients with lung cancer including medical and radiation oncologists, thoracic surgeons, and advanced practice providers (APPs; e.g., oncology nurses, pharmacists, and nurse practitioners).
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Utilize guideline recommendations for the use of molecular and prognostic testing for patients with NSCLC to identify biomarkers that may guide treatment decision-making
- Evaluate the latest treatment findings and guideline recommendations for the management of advanced/metastatic NSCLC
- Incorporate management strategies that mitigate ICI-associated irAEs
