PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This program will review the diagnosis and management of patients with advanced or metastatic melanoma.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists, dermatologists, and other healthcare providers involved in the care of patients with melanoma.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

On completing this program, attendees should be able to:

  • Develop individualized treatment plans for the management of advanced or metastatic melanoma that incorporate clinical trial data and current treatment guidelines
  • Recognize and effectively manage immune-related adverse events associated with the use of immune checkpoint inhibitors
  • Implement shared decision-making in clinical practice to improve patient interaction and education

Purpose: This program would be beneficial for nurses involved in the treatment of patients with melanoma. Credits: 1.0 ANCC Contact Hour.

CNE Accreditation Statement: Ultimate Medical Academy/CCM is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Awarded 1.0 contact hour of continuing nursing education of RNs and APNs.
