PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This activity is designed for healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with fibrosing interstitial lung diseases (F-ILDs). Through didactic content and clinical case scenarios, participants will apply international diagnostic and management guidelines to identify, diagnose, and manage these patients and to differentiate progressive fibrosing phenotypes through multidisciplinary collaboration. Virtual reality animations enhance understanding of the pathophysiology of F-ILDs and the mechanisms of action of antifibrotic therapies.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of pulmonologists.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Recognize key pathophysiologic mechanisms, prevalence patterns, and symptom burden associated with F-ILDs
- Integrate diagnostic guidelines and standardized testing approaches, including HRCT, to interpret clinical, radiologic, and laboratory findings for earlier identification and differentiation of ILD subtypes
- Adopt evidence-based treatment and follow up strategies for F-ILDs to monitor disease progression, manage treatment, and support patient care through multidisciplinary collaboration
