PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This educational program is designed to enhance the knowledge and competence of healthcare professionals caring for patients with neuroendocrine lung cancers. It provides an overview of DLL3 biology in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the lung (LCNEC-L), the scientific rationale supporting DLL3 as a target for bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapies, and the mechanism by which these agents redirect T cells. The program also reviews emerging clinical evidence on the efficacy, safety, and dosing of DLL3-targeted BiTEs in extensive-stage SCLC (ES-SCLC) and LCNEC-L, while equipping participants with practical strategies to prevent and manage treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs).

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of oncologists and oncology advanced practice practitioners (APPs).

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:

  • Identify the prevalence of DLL3 overexpression in SCLC and LCNEC-L, the rationale for its suitability as a target for T-cell recognition, and the mechanism of action of DLL3-targeting BiTEs
  • Summarize clinical trial efficacy and safety data and recommended dosing for BiTEs that target DLL3 in ES-SCLC and LCNEC-L
  • Implement strategies for preventing and mitigating TRAEs
