PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The DETECT live SUMMITS will feature a series of regional, case-based, interactive meetings across three targeted tracks—Primary Care (screening and referral), Neurology (diagnosis and treatment), and Multidisciplinary Teams (care coordination and shared decision-making). Designed to address real-world barriers identified through behavioral science analyses and qualitative research, this series will convene local providers to develop practical solutions that improve referral pathways, diagnostic confidence, and team-based Alzheimer’s care. To sustain impact, participants will join the Insights-to-Action Platform, an online collaboration hub that enables ongoing networking, resource sharing, and implementation of best practices across regions.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is tailored to meet the educational needs of neurologists, primary care physicians, geriatricians, psychiatrists, neuroradiologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Implement evidence-based strategies for screening, diagnosing, and staging MCI and AD that integrate clinical assessment with objective cognitive and biomarker testing
- Apply the latest clinical practice recommendations for the use of DMTs for AD, including criteria for appropriate patient selection
- Develop strategies to identify, monitor, and manage AEs associated with DMTs for AD, particularly ARIA
- Formulate best practices for a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates SDM when discussing the treatment options and management of AD
