PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This brief 25-minute, on-demand CME snapshot combines an engaging whiteboard animation, a focused clinical case presentation, and concise didactic slides to bring key concepts to life. The session provides practical, guideline-informed insights on integrating blood-based biomarker testing into real-world workflows to support earlier and more accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Through case-based learning and visual storytelling, learners will enhance their confidence in interpreting emerging diagnostic data and applying it effectively in everyday clinical practice.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The educational initiative is designed to meet the needs of global primary care professionals, primary care advanced practice professionals, neurologists, and neurology advanced practice professionals.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Assess features of AD pathophysiology as manifested in cognitive screening, plasma biomarker evaluation, and imaging results to facilitate patient assessment, prognostic evaluation, and follow-up
- Summarize current guideline-informed best practices for interpretation of plasma-based biomarker results and imaging findings to establish an accurate AD diagnosis
- Integrate best practices for multidisciplinary collaboration across primary care physicians and memory care specialists to support effective AD management
