This educational activity is intended for U.S. based PCPs, NPs, and PAs, with emphasis on those who provide care to underserved communities and communities with the greatest needs.
Upon completion of the program, attendees should be able to:
- Explain the rationale for using a weight-centric approach to T2DM management
- Assess guidelines-recommended strategies for using incretin therapies when intensifying treatment in patients with T2DM and overweight/obesity
- Use shared decision making in the selection of treatments for patients with T2DM and overweight/ obesity
