PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Blood-Based Biomarker Testing is an innovative global CME initiative designed to equip primary care and neurology clinicians with practical, guideline-informed strategies to advance the early and accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Through a combination of virtually live and enduring education, including whiteboard snapshots, clinical exchange discussions, and point-of-care tools; this series focuses on integrating cognitive screening, plasma-based biomarker testing, imaging interpretation, and multidisciplinary collaboration into real-world clinical workflows. Delivered in regional languages with subtitles and supported by a dynamic digital community of care, this program aims to strengthen clinicians’ ability to assess Alzheimer’s pathophysiology, interpret emerging diagnostic data, and coordinate care across specialties, ultimately improving patient assessment, prognostic evaluation, and longitudinal management globally.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The educational initiative is designed to meet the needs of Global (1) PCPs, (2) NPs, (3) PAs, (4) Neurologists, (5) NPs, and (6) Neuro Pas
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Assess features of AD pathophysiology as manifested in cognitive screening, plasma biomarker evaluation, and imaging results to facilitate patient assessment, prognostic evaluation, and follow-up
- Summarize current guideline-informed best practices for interpretation of plasma-based biomarker results and imaging findings to establish an accurate AD diagnosis
- Integrate best practices for multidisciplinary collaboration across primary care physicians and memory care specialists to support effective AD management
