In this online activity, we will take an in-depth look at therapeutic options for patients with endometriosis-related pain, as well as evidence-based guidelines for treatment. We will cover several patient-related aspects of care, such as considerations based on age, severity, treatment preference, and comorbidities. Finally, we will focus on findings from clinical trials of GnRH-based therapies for endometriosis pain.
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of US-based obstetricians/gynecologists and other healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis.
After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
- Discuss the established therapeutic options for patients with endometriosis-related pain and their place in evidence-based management guidelines
- Discuss the impact of patient-related factors, such as age, disease severity, treatment preferences, and comorbidities, on treatment decision making in the management of endometriosis-related pain
- Describe safety and efficacy findings from clinical trials of GnRH-based therapeutic options for the treatment of patients with endometriosis-related pain
