PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This online activity will cover treatment options and management strategies for patients with psoriasis.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for dermatologists and other health care professionals involved in the management of patients with psoriasis.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Review the pathophysiology of psoriasis, including genetic and cellular mechanisms, cytokines, and inflammatory processes
- Describe the mechanisms of action, efficacy, and safety of approved and emerging biologics, along with their use in populations of color
- Evaluate differences in presentation and treatment of special populations with psoriasis
- Assess the disease burden and quality-of-life impact of psoriasis, along with tips on how to better manage them
