PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This online activity has been designed for primary care, emergency care, sports neurologists, headache neurologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of people with acute and chronic post-concussion symptoms to help them in evaluating and treating patients by using a patient-centered approach. This activity includes a personal interview featuring a patient who has experienced concussion and is now living with post-concussion syndrome.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Primary care, emergency care, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment and management of patients with acute and chronic post-concussion symptoms.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Identify the challenges of evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic post-concussion symptoms
- Demonstrate efficient approaches for evaluating acute and chronic symptoms of concussion
- Use a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to the treatment of the post-concussion syndrome
ACCREDITATION STATEMENT
