PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This case-based activity will cover the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with soft tissue sarcoma (STS).
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of oncologists, oncology nurses, pathologists, radiologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare practitioners who care for patients with soft tissue sarcoma.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the program, participants should be able to:
- Review best practices for making an accurate, pathologically driven diagnosis of soft tissue sarcoma (STS)
- Describe the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach to the management of patients with STS including referral to expert centers
- Discuss challenges associated with designing, conducting, and interpreting clinical trials for STS treatments
- Evaluate the clinical evidence supporting advanced STS treatment options that can be used to personalize patient management in various treatment settings
