– Describe the application of medical association guidelines in the clinical care setting to appropriately screen, assess, and treat patients with chronic noncancer pain

both available and emerging, with abuse-deterrent technology that balances their analgesia with the risks of abuse or misuse in treating noncancer chronic pain

– Review strategies to advance the communication between the healthcare team and patients
in order to optimize self-management and interdisciplinary treatment of chronic noncancer pain
