This virtually live educational activity focuses on leveraging targetable mutations for cancer-directed therapy, through evaluating approaches to tumor assessment as well as the latest developments in novel targeted and immune-therapeutic approaches. Learn more about biomarkers that guide treatment selection, novel immunotherapy treatment strategies, and the critical role of multidisciplinary management to individualize care in non-small cell lung cancer.
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists, hematologic-oncologists, academic, community and research oncologists, and collaborative multidisciplinary care professionals who manage patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Assess updates in tumor assessment, including targetable mutations and considerations for eligibility with immuno-therapeutic options for cancer management
- Explain the latest developments in therapeutics, including developments in novel targeted and immuno-therapeutic mechanisms in NSCLC
- Summarize best practices for monitoring and management of potential unique adverse events associated with novel therapeutics
- Evaluate best practices for integrating patient advocacy and optimal communication in oncology care
