PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This TeleECHO series explores the potential of novel therapies for the second-line management of advanced gastric cancers, including a review of current clinical practice guidelines and specifics on choosing the most appropriate therapy for the most appropriate patient.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:
- Describe the efficacy and safety of clinical trials of novel therapies for the second-line management of advanced/metastatic gastric/GEJ cancers
- Identify the most appropriate patients for currently available second-line therapies in gastric/GEJ cancers
- Implement current clinical practice guidelines using a multidisciplinary team to appropriately sequence therapies beyond the first line for patients with advanced and metastatic GC/GEJ
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is intended for community-based oncologists, oncology nurses, and other healthcare providers involved in the care of patients with advanced/metastatic gastric cancer and gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.
