PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This virtual live activity is designed to meet the educational needs of healthcare practitioners to ensure confidence in the management of patients with HER3-overexpressing lung cancer. The program will address the biologic and clinical aspects of HER3 in advanced and EGFR-resistant NSCLC, and present the latest clinical trial data from current and ongoing trials of HER3-targeted antibodies in the management of NSCLC. The program will also evaluate the roles of multidisciplinary team members in the monitoring and management of treatment-related adverse events associated with HER3-targeted therapies.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of the multidisciplinary oncology care team, including community oncologists, academic oncologists, pathologists, oncology NPs and PAs, oncology nurses, and clinical and board-certified oncology pharmacists to ensure confidence in the management of HER3-overexpressing lung cancer.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this program, attendees should be able to:
- Appraise the biologic and clinical relevance of HER3 in advanced NSCLC and EGFR-resistant NSCLC
- Summarize the clinical trial data and design of ongoing trials with HER3-targeted antibodies in the management of NSCLC
- Evaluate the relevance of members of the multidisciplinary team in adverse event monitoring and management with HER3-directed therapies
