This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, nurses and other physicians who treat patients with IBD.
- Describe the dysfunctional immunologic factors and pathways of clinical importance for IBD therapy
- Review the novel mechanisms of action of emerging treatments for IBD and clinical trial data on their safety and efficacy in patients with IBD refractory to current therapeutic options
- Describe best practices for assessing IBD patients’ treatment needs, as well as the potential benefits offered by a multidisciplinary approach to IBD care
- Evaluate real-world data on IBD care quality and treatment practices
