PROGRAM OVERVIEW
These virtual live TeleECHO® sessions are faculty-led didactic and case-based interactive activities designed to facilitate the implementation of a holistic approach to simultaneously address weight management and glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes. Participants will gain knowledge of the rationale for a weight-centric approach to type 2 diabetes management; use guidelines and clinical data to select pharmacological agents that facilitate both weight management and glycemic control; and implement shared decision making to better engage patients and personalize care.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This educational activity is intended for U.S. PCPs, PAs, and NPs who treat T2D.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the program, attendees should be able to:
- Utilize guidelines and clinical data supporting a weight-centric approach to the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes
- Select pharmacological agents that facilitate both weight management and glycemic control
- Implement shared decision-making strategies to help patients with type 2 diabetes select and follow through with informed options for weight loss
