PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This enduring, web-based activity is focused on diagnosis, treatment and management of multiple sclerosis.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is designed to meet the needs of neurologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals treating patients with MS.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:

  • Identify the various clinical courses of MS
  • Evaluate the current evidence base for approved MS therapies
  • Review the pharmacologic profiles of investigational therapies for MS
  • Assess ways in which adverse events can be managed when using newly-approved agents for MS
  • Summarize two unmet needs that patients frequently voice in their own personal MS care and discuss how to alleviate these concerns in clinical practice
