PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This 3-Dimensional enduring activity will cover the treatment and management of patients with advanced gastric cancer.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is designed to educate oncologists, gastroenterologists, and other health care providers involved in the care of patients with advanced gastric cancer.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:

  • Observe the epidemiology and histological differences of subtypes of gastric cancer and the signaling pathways playing a crucial role in gastric cancer development
  • Compare and contrast established and investigational targeted therapies for their mechanism of action, efficacy and safety in the contest of different types of advanced gastric cancer
  • Identify strategies to personalize care of patients with advanced gastric cancer and to educate patients on disease pathology, patient-characteristics and available treatment options
